In Molise there are 4 DOC and 2 IGT. The Biferno DOC and Pentro or Pentro d'Isernia DOC were established in 1983. Then they followed the Molise or Molise DOC, of ​​1998 and the Tintilia del Molise DOC, founded in 2011. Osco or Terra degli Osci IGT and Rotae IGT, are of 1995. In the region there are also two DOP, one for the Extra Virgin Olive Oil of Molise DOP and the other, the ubiquitous Salamini Italiani alla Cacciatora DOP.
